Partnerships
Within the first few years of creation, IPACmavens has expanded its network and is working closely with other organization.
In May 2018, IPACmavens signed its first memorandum of understanding with HEADA. The partnership between the two originated from a mutual desire by both parties to collaborate to conduct collaborative research on disease surveillance, prevention and control. HEADA is the French acronym for the Association for Health and Development in Action. Its main activity is public health prevention, research and community development.
As part of their partnership, IPACmavens and HEADA will engage in the following collaborative activities
- Public health research and population-base studies
- Community education and empowerment
- Disease surveillance and response to epidemics
- Innovation and communication in support to health and development
In June 2018, IPACmavens signed a memorandum of understanding with Master Care Janitorial and Facility Services for the delivering of public health janitorial solutions. Master care is a leading provider of eco-friendly janitorial services, office cleaning and building maintenance services to Greater Vancouver, the Central Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and the Okanagan Valley. Both parties seek to collaborate to enhance infection control cleaning best practices in the following areas in which Master care provides services:
- Post construction cleaning
- Green cleaning
- Healthcare facility cleaning
- Office cleaning
- School cleaning
- Business premises cleaning
