Practice Areas

Our scope is facility infection prevention and control.

Having an infection control expert from IPACmavens partner with your organization can save valuable resources including your time.

At IPACmavens, a Board-Certified Infection Preventionist can help you and your organization to improve on your quality and safety initiatives by implementing programs, trainings and standards which will reduce the risk of infection transmission.

We do all of these while meeting the following fundamental goals of our infection prevention and control program:

  • Protecting the patients/residents
  • Protecting the healthcare personnel/staff and visitors
  • Meeting accreditation and regulatory mandates
  • Accomplishing these goals in a cost-effective manner for the organization

We will conduct a thorough assessment of your IPAC processes including an infection control risk assessment, and provide risk mitigation strategies. This assessment usually involves a facility tour, observation and review of your records and documentations. Our consultant will conduct a gap analysis and generate a report within 3 business days. We will also assist you with accreditation survey preparation and regulatory requirements as well as provide assistance with corrective plans of action related to audit deficiencies from inspectors.

4.2. IPAC EDUCATION

Healthcare workers struggle to keep up with knowledge of infection prevention and control simply because the time they have to devote to ongoing education is so limited. Recognizing these are a quality and patient/resident safety issue, IPACmavens has developed programs with various options to educate and update healthcare workers on the latest practices, new and changing regulations, and much more. We provide onsite and web-based educational and training programs on infection prevention and control.
